A limit of 5 items can be placed on each card. Current items checked out can be returned in the book drop. Staff will not accept returns during curbside transitions.

All holds must be placed online through your library catalog account. To log into your account, visit  http://search.illinoisheartland.org and use your barcode and 4 digit PIN code to log in.

When picking up items, pull into one of our two designated spots, call (618) 993-5935 then press 2. You can then notify our staff which spot you are in and your items will be delivered to your vehicle.

A few things to keep in mind at this time:

• You will be notified in your preferred manner which requests we were able to fill.
• The library will hold items for one week after the request is processed.
• All outstanding library fees over $1 must be paid in order to use curbside service. Fines must be paid in cash, with exact change while using curbside services. Your library account will indicate if fees are owed.
