Virtual Reality Headsets at MCL

Marion Carnegie Library’s PNG at MCL program is proud to offer Meta Quest 2 Virtual Reality headsets for use during certain programs and events.

Anyone who uses one of the library’s Virtual Reality headsets must have a signed copy of the Virtual Reality Headset Release Form on file. Anyone under the age of 13 must have the signature of a legal guardian in order to use the Virtual Reality headsets.

Virtual Reality Headset Use

Marion Carnegie Library offers Virtual Reality Headsets for use by members of the public.

The following rules and regulations apply to the use of the library’s Virtual Reality headsets. Any departure from these rules may be made only by the written authorization of the Library Director.

  1. General Regulations
    Anyone who uses one of the library’s Virtual Reality headsets must have a signed copy of the Virtual Reality Headset Release Form on file.
    – Anyone under the age of 13 must have the signature of a legal guardian in order to use the Virtual Reality headsets.
  2. Use of a Virtual Reality headset must be supervised by a responsible adult.
  3. The Library Director or designee is authorized to deny subsequent use of the Virtual Reality headsets by individuals that are disruptive or violate policies and regulations.
  4. Amendments
    – This statement of policy is subject to amendment at any time by the Marion Carnegie Library Board of Trustees.
