Read Beyond the Beaten Path

Marion Carnegie Library could not be more excited to present 2022’s Summer Reading program – “Read Beyond the Beaten Path”!
Marion community members of all ages are invited to take part in our Summer Reading Kickoff Event and 5K on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Our Guest of Honor - Lyric Thompson!

Lyric Thompson attends 3rd grade at Marion’s Lincoln School, and she is the 2022 Boys & Girls Club of Southern Illinois ‘Jr Youth of the Year’, and Marion Carnegie Library is so proud that she’ll be this year’s Summer Reading Kickoff Event Guest of Honor!

Lyric has attended the Marion Boys & Girls Club of Southern Illinois location since its opening in December 2021. She’s provided such inspiration for the community and the library is so glad she can be part of our event!
